  • 1876   Hedemora founded, production of agricultural equipment was established
  • 1903   First internal combustion kerosene fuelled engine was built
  • 1946   License production of Pielstick PA engine
  • 1954   First order of submarine engines for the Swedish navy
  • 1963   Development of own VA type engine with 185 mm bore
  • 1966   Development and supply of turbocharged submarine engine
  • 1973   First order of engines for offshore industry
  • 1978   The VB type engine with 210 mm bore was introduced
  • 1983    Contract for locomotive engines for TCDD was signed
  • 1988    Contract for engines for the RAN Collins Class Submarines
  • 1996    Hedemora Diesel certified according to ISO 9001
  • 2004    Hedemora Diesel certified according to ISO 14001
  • 2005    Coote industrial acquired Hedemora Diesel
  • 2009    Hedemora Diesel acquired Turbomeca turbocharger division
  •  
  • 2010    Hedemora Diesel AB changed name to Drivetrain Sweden AB
